STEPHANIE S. (NEE SETLAK) MONAHAN age 89 of Portage passed away Friday February 3 2006. Survived by brother Joseph (Sally) Setlak of Merrillville 2 sisters-in-law: Stephanie Setlak of Merrillville Mary Setlak of Valparaiso many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Husband J. Marshall Monahan parents Albert and Magdalena Setlak and 3 brothers: Alexander Bruno and Walter. Stephanie was born March 23 1916 in Gary. She was a member and past Commander of American Legion Post 207 a member and past President of Northwest Indiana Retirees a retired clerk from the Met Lab U.S. Steel with 37 years of service a Navy veteran of WWII a member of Polish Womens Alliance St. Annes Gr. #562 and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 207. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Monday from 2-8 p.m. with a PWA service at 3:00 p.m. Legion service at 4:00 p.m. Auxiliary service at 4:15 p.m. and a prayer service at 4:30 P.M. Funeral service will be held Tuesday February 7 2006 at 11:00 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 11:30 a.m. from SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 5885 Harrison St. Merrillville with Rev.
