Scott Siecker, age 72 , of LaPorte, IN passed away peacefully at Chesterton Manor on Friday, August 18, 2023. He was born on July 6, 1951 to Albert B. and Mary (nee McCullough) who preceded him in death.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Paula (nee Pavicich); children: Mathew (Nicole) Siecker and Lindsay (Bernard) Siegmund; grandchildren: Addison, Chloe, Hudson and Avery; siblings: Abby (Barbara) Siecker and Laurie (Jeffrey) Fries; and sister-in-law, Beverly Siecker.
Scott was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly Siecker; parents: Albert and Mary; siblings: Bruce Siecker and Mary Catherine (James) Nowaczyk.
Scott was retired with 35+ years of service at Huhtamaki Packaging Worldwide (Keyes Fiber Company). He enjoyed camping with his family when the kids were younger and was an avid fisherman. Scott was very handy and loved to rebuild and refinish things. Scott was also a huge music fan listening to just about anything. He and Paula loved seeing their favorite bands in concert throughout their many years together. Family was the most important thing to Scott and he cherished his time with them. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Friends are invited to visit with Scott’s family on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 5:00 pm at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington St., Michigan City, IN 46360.

To my brother, Scott I could see in your eyes you wanted to go, To be with our Father in Heaven, you know. You were weak and had fought a good fight, But your recovery was way out of site. First I want to express my sorrow for Paula and the family. Scott was my uncle and he always had a smile when ever we saw each other. As I have gotten older I look back as many of us do, and I remember my early teens playing basketball with my dad, my brother, and my uncles Scott and Abby. We were the rookies and they were the veterans, but as we grew our games got better for having been roughed up by them in those early years. Those were great times and I miss them very much, and I will miss that smile from uncle Scott.
