My condolences to Sarah's family and friends. Sarah and I were friends many years ago as children. I lived on a farm near where the Sampson's spent part of their summers. I was fortunate to have known Sarah and her sisters and forever appreciated their attempts to "civilize" me - no mean task as I recall. Over the years, I never forgot Sarah and her family and deeply regret not making an effort to stay in contact with Sarah. I'm sure that only her surviving sister has any recollection of me, but I remember Sarah, Debbie, and Barbara and their parents very well. Seeing the announcement of Sarah's passing opened a treasure chest of memories for me. It appears that her life was happy and successful, and she deserved nothing less. Sarah was always kind to me, even though I never earned her kindness. Needless to say, I wish I had stayed in contact over the years. I share the sadness of her passing, May God comfort all who knew her and loved her.

Dear Pete, It was such a joy to see you and Sarah on the bookmobile twice a month. I always looked forward to our chats and absolutely loved choosing books I thought you'd enjoy. Sarah was such a wonderful lady and so fun to talk to. She so obviously loved her family and had interesting stores to share. My prayers are with you in the coming days and weeks. God bless, Jennifer

Sarah was a wonderful lady, friend and PEO sister. From day one of meeting her 6 years ago, I became so fond of Sarah and could talk so easily to her. I loved hearing her stories, they were always so enjoyable! Sarah will be greatly missed. I’m so sorry for your families loss.

Sarah is the source of many happy family memories for me (of course, along with her Pete). It was wonderful to see her on visits home to Hinsdale over many years. I think we all remember the delightful 1976 Bi-centennial celebration at the Borsch household! Palmer, Heather and Tyler were all there along with their Aunt Barbara and Uncle Fred’s three boys. Later visits were seldom, but always a delight. Sarah is missed.
