Sandra A. Claus

Sandra Ann Claus, age 76, of Danville, IN passed away suddenly on Monday, November 14, 2022. She was formerly a resident of Crown Point, IN. She is survived by her sister, Shirley Thomen of Crown Point, IN; her brother and sister-in-law Robert (Karen) Claus of Wilmington, NC ; her sister-in-law Loretta Claus of Crown Point, IN; many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Bernard and Clara Claus, her sister Ethel Dunkelberger and brother Eugene Claus; and nephew, Joseph Claus.

Sandra was born on December 12, 1945. She was a graduate of Crown Point High School. She like to tell the story about her mom wanting to name her Barbara but the delivery nurse suggested Sandra because of her last name and December birth. Sandy worked for the Anderson Co/Anco for 44 years without missing a single day. Sandy loved to joke around with people and was always thinking of others. Sandy had a strong faith in God and loved to share her knowledge.

The family will be holding a private service. Sandra will be buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.
