Sandy came to my and Renee’s wedding 30 years ago as my cousin Carrie plus one. And the rest is history. Sandy was immediately welcomed into the family. He had a way to capture your attention with a quick joke. He was loved in the Hanes + Arnot family and will be missed dearly.

David Pruett left a message on November 11, 2023:
Out of nowhere an unknown cousin appeared. With the face and mannerisms of Uncle Sambo (Samuel Knight Pruett), no one could deny his connection to the Pruett family. For too few years he made the family better, funnier, and connected in new ways. Then, as suddenly as he appeared, he was gone. RIP, Sandy. Glad you never needed that DNA test.
