Rose B. Matura (nee Horvat), age 96, of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Hammond, IN passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023.

Rose is survived by her 2 children: Janet (Joseph) Manchak of St. John, IN and Michael A. Matura of Long Beach, IN; 2 grandchildren: Natalie (Stacey) Howell of Crown Point, IN and Andrea (Brad) Moran of Dyer, IN; and great-granddaughter, Sophie (Zachary) Howell.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Matura; and 2 sisters: Frances Calhoun and Mary Orvanin.

A private burial was held for Rose. Arrangements were entrusted to Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Rose’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
