Robert Raymond Spangler known affectionately as Dad, Big Bobby, Bear, and Phat Boi has gained his wings at the age of 49. Sunrise took place on December 3, 1972 and sunset was January 2, 2022.
Ol’ blue eyes was born into the most loving arms of Theresa Ann (Redenbough) Brown and Robert Eugene Brown.
Robert leaves behind to never forget him, his dad, Robert Brown (Papaw); oldest sister, Julie Boyd; youngest sister, Elizabeth “Bissy” Brown; daughter, Ashley; Bobby (Kim), Craigg (Rachel), Dustin (Becca), Brandon, Robert Jr., and Theresa (aka “Sissy”) Spanglers; grandchildren, Destiny, Rachel, Chase, Alaina, Ava, Charley Jade, Aleena, Jax, Adalynn, Ryan, Kennlee, and Raelynn; nieces and nephews, Clarrissa, Andrew, Alexis, Diammond, Dravvis, Brittani, Cobi, Nikkolai, and Eboni; many great nieces and nephews; special “brothers”, Kerry (Julie), Pete (Melissa) Kirby (Jen), Adan (Candace), Bobby Short,; previous wives, Tracey and Sabrina; and several friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa; loving baby sister, Michelle (Shelly); and brothers James and Timothy.
Anybody that knew him knows that he was all love. He was very goofy and could turn any frown upside down. Robert was never a stranger and would give the shirt off his back. He was loved by so many and so many loved him. We will always remember him under the hood of a car, rooting for the Raiders, and cracking a joke. We are all so crushed to see him go.
