Ronald R. Kerbs, age 86, of Crown Point, passed away on Monday, January 25, 2021, at his home.

Ron is survived by his sons: John W. (Betty) Kerbs of Crown Point and Thomas J. Kerbs of Crown Point; grandchildren: Jonathan M. (Angela) Kerbs and David (Megan) Kerbs; great-grandchildren: Matthew, Isabella and James.

Ron was preceded in death by his wife Betty, son Ronald Jr., 4 brothers and 2 sisters.

Ron was the owner and operator of Ron & Sons Auto Repair in Crown Point for 54 years. He was a member of the Crown Point Lions Club since 1957. He was also a member of the Hoosier Cruisers Camping Club and the Ramblin’ Sams Camping Club. He was a St. Anthony Medical Center Auxiliary Volunteer for more than 40 years of service.

Private funeral services are in the care of Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point with burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Ron’s name to the Crown Point Lions Club.

My thoughts and my prayers go out to all Ron’s Family and friends. With the passing of my neighbor, my former boss, my friend and I would go as far to say part of my family I am deeply saddened. There are so many memories are going through my mind all of them good. May Uncle Ron rest in peace. My deepest sympathies.

Our deepest condolences to all of Ron’s family. Ron was such a good person. He and Betty were not only neighbors but coworkers and most of all good friends to us. God’s speed Ron.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We're keeping all of you in our thoughts and prayers. Your mom and dad were good friends with my parents, Bill & Sandy Berrier as they were in the camping club for many years. My folks spoke very highly of your parents. Take comfort knowing they've been reunited with many of their friends and we'll see them again one day on the other side...
