Rob and I Corresponded a great deal via email. In fact in the entire time we knew each other I think we only spoke on the phone once. Sometimes written word lacks something. That was never the case with Rob. He was always able to convey feeling and his happy personality through his writing and the use of “!”’s. Big smile. Miss ya buddy!!!

Sadly I only got to meet Rob once at Oak Hill. His love of animals was obvious and his smile was something that just made you feel happy. Bob and I are both so terribly sorry for your loss, Mike. Please know your in our hearts and that somehow you will find a way to cope with your grief.

He was the kindest, most patient person I have ever known. Generous with his time and always encouraging me to be a better person and to believe that life was a wonderful gift and to believe in myself. He was always there when I needed a friend to talk to and his guidance and kindness will be missed . Such a marvelous wonderful human being.???

I met Rob just once just before he was to be married this past October. It only took that single meeting to know what a wonderful man that Mike had found. I'm so sorry that all of your lives and hearts will have such an unfillable hole by his passing. I'm so glad that he was in your lives to teach, guide, love and spread his light and joy everywhere he went. I'm glad that that light will continue to be in your hearts forever.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My wife and I met Rob when we took our dog to my brothers vet clinic. It was close to closing time so we asked if we would be able to see Mike and Rob suggested we all go out for ice cream after they closed. Needless to say we went out for ice cream, and two hours later we were so happy that we were able to get to know Rob. Afterwards, we felt like we had known Rob our whole lives and more importantly, wished that we had.

We have known Mike for many years and consider him a dear friend.. We were so thrilled and happy that he and Rob had found each other and we were so looking forward to the four of us spending time together after Covid. The obituary above written by Rob's daughter is one of the most beautiful we have ever read and describes the Rob we knew by phone, video and pictures. We are so saddened for Mike and all of you at the at this untimely and horrific loss.
