Dominic my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this hard time. Very sorry to hear of your loss. I can remember when we were little kids riding in your dads squad car. A fond memory for sure as I am sure you have many. Take care.
Pam, Jo & Mark Burke left a message on April 28, 2013:
My first memory of Chico was finding him sitting cross-legged in our backyard with my Dad. It had clandestine meeting written all over it. I took one look at that bearded, beret-wearing cop, and my 12 year old self thought...these brave men are heroes. They are making the world a better place, a safer place. One of Life's Defining Moments it truly was. A moment I remember often, accompanied by prayers and love and appreciation. Our world seems to shift when we lose great men. I know my Dad was near the front of the line to welcome a brother home. From the family of Det. 1st Sgt. Edward L. Burke, we offer our prayers and condolences and the wish for peace in your heart.

Dearest Fay Fay, My heart is with you as you walk this path given to you. Your family and friends all are touched by your endeavors and hard work in all that you do for others as I observed today. May this be a time that others can do for you. The service was the most inspirational and full of love for you and Bobby! I liked hearing the stories from Mike, Father Tom, and Bob's brother. Indeed a celebration of LOVE! Your friend, Nancy

Faye and Dominic, Thinking of you and your family during this most difficult time. I would like to thank you for sharing Chico with all of us, he was a great man and will be missed tremendously. For the past several days my heart and mind have been filled with so many funny, fond and everlasting memories of times spent with all of you. Chico was so much more than just a neighbor he was my coach, friend and most importantly mentor. He taught me so much, both on and off the golf course and I know that I am a better man for having spent time with him.

Dear Fay, Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Chico was a great guy and a good friend who touched many! On the course, everyone knew what a great golfer he was but I will always carry the memory of Hawkeye as he always managed to find everyone's lost ball. RIP Friend!

Dear Fay and family, we are so sorry for your loss. Chico was a good friend, quick with a joke and a great golfer as well. He earned the nickname fairway Bob for his ball striking ability. He always had a smile on his face and a story to tell. He was truly one of the good guys. The world lost a good man today, but the Good Lord upstairs just filled up his foursome. Again, our deepest sympathies, and take comfort in knowing Chico touched many lives and will never be forgotten.
