We were good friends, and team mates, for a short time in the early 70's, but that time has left me with many great, and lasting, memories of our friendship. The 1973 New Years eve Notre Dame/Bama Sugar Bowl game will always be one of my great memories. Rest In Peace and Go With God Bo....perhaps someday we'll meet again. It was a slice.

Rest In peace my friend, thanks for all of the fun times at EHS. To Linda and family, you were all blessed with a great husband and father, my best to all of you.
Dan Maracich left a message on November 6, 2022:
Bob was the epitome of what a man should be - a great husband, father, friend, and Christian. Every person you meet in life, a little bit of that person rubs off on you, and what rubbed off on you when you were with Bob was really cool. It has been an honor to have spent time with you. You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. I love you, my friend.

What can I say about Bob that hasn't already been said. He was like my Big Brother I never had. He was one of the very best! A true friend. You will always be in my heart and I will never forget you buddy. There will always be a reserved seat on the boat for you! God Bless Buddy!

Roseann and I are so very sad about Bob's passing. Our prayers are for your family at this difficult time. Bob and I worked together at USS for many years and also played golf at Indian Ridge. What a class act!!! Over the years, he told me many stories about his family. What a Lucky guy. Bob will be greatly missed.

My fondest memory of Bob is coaching our boys together in Little League. Bob was great with all the kids (even with Ryan) and showed all of them the fundamentals of baseball. I truly enjoyed coaching with him and he will always be remembered.

While I did not know Bob personally, after reading about his life I certainly wish I had known him. It is evident what a fun and kind man he was! I pray that even in your grief, you find comfort in knowing that his life made this world a better place. Sending you all love and God's comforting presence during this difficult time.
Father Bob Jennings left a message on November 1, 2022:
Words are so inadequate in times such as this. Bob was such a gentle spirit, and he brightened my day each time I got to see him, whether at US Steel or at church. Please know that I am praying for you, Linda, as well as Heather, Ryan, and the grandchildren, that God may shower you in His mercy and engulf you in His infinite love. My heart aches with yours and I am reminded once again that this world is not our home. The best is yet to come.

This gentleman was a truly good friend to me. We met while I was performing at a tailgate backyard party in South Bend and he and his wife were friends with me ever since. I am very sorry for your loss but happy that he is no longer suffering. He was a good man to know and I'm thankful for that. Time heals all sorrow and wounds. My condolences and God blessings upon you.
