My condolences to the Dettman family. I will always remember growing up with Jeff and all the funny things Dick would say. He has helped me with a lot of things in life and still does. May he rest in peace.

Dearest Cheryl and family, We have so many wonderful memories of Dick from supporting my teaching at St.Paul to sitting with us at many baseball games, sporting events, to smelling his pipe, etc. He was a friend, we will miss .Prayers for strength in all areas, for you and the whole family.

Awwwww Cheryl (& children).... I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of Dick. I have so many wonderful memories of living next door to you folks, in Village Green. Dick's obituary was right... he always looked for ways to help people and my parents were the recipients of that help many times. I remember spending time with your family at my parents' cottage on Shafer Lake too. Those were the good ole days! I know my Mom & Dad both welcomed Dick into heaven with open arms and were glad to see him again. Be assured of my prayers, as your broken hearts mend, and my wish is that all of you may one day soon think upon the memory of Dick with smiles instead of tears. Love forever~ Andrea xoxo
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I am so sorry for your loss. We grew up with Dick; like a second father. He could always read between the lines, but trusted us to all make the right decisions. He will always be loved and truly missed.
