Gary will miss Jerry's yearly conversations. When he would come by and service the fire extinguisher in the apartment. Jerry will be greatly missed by family and his many friends.

Robin (Ryder) & Tim Dearing left a message on January 28, 2017:
Pastor and his family will always be very special to me. His love for Jesus was real, and it was under his "care" that I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ. He and Anita helped and guided me through very rough years. When he laughed his eyes 'twinkled', and I couldn't wait to hear him sing! He was a great, sincere man. My prayers are surely with you Anita, Deanna, Angi, Kevin, Kayla, Kierstyn, Kyle, and the ENTIRE family.

Thank you for being the amazing father to Angi, who is so very dear to me. I am grateful to you and Anita for coming to indiana all those years ago. I am blessed to have heard you preach and help me and my family through prayer. I will always remember your humor, your brilliant way of speaking and your smile. There is so much to say, and not enough words.... Thank you for being you. You will always be treasured.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Jerry served as our interim pastor in Rensselaer for a while and we are fortunate to have Lisa and Brent with us now. He was always such an inspiration and his smile would warm anyone's heart. He will truly be missed. My heart goes out to Anita and the family.
Donna Clark Goodrich left a message on January 25, 2017:
Jerry and I grew up together and both attended the Nazarene Church in Jackson, Michigan. I remember his piano playing, his singing, and his preaching. He was also a great NYPS (Nazarene Young People's Society) president. The last time I saw them was when they pastored in Holt, Michigan. My prayers to Anita and the children and grandchildren. I know he'll be missed.
