Rebekah “Beka” Hart, age 26, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021.
Rebekah is survived by her father, David (Tammy) Hart of Crown Point; mother, the late Yvonne Perez; siblings: Adam Hart, Claire Hart, Andrew Winters, Alex Elkins, Adam Elkins, Andrew Elkins, Amanda Elkins; grandparents: Gary and Jean Hart, Danny and Betsy Matthews, Melva Winters, Patricia Holland; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Rebekah was a graduate of Munster High School Class of 2013 where she was a member of the marching band. Rebekah went on to attend Vincennes University and Purdue Calumet and wanted to pursue a degree in art therapy. She worked as a Nurse Tech at Community North Hospital in Indianapolis. Rebekah had a substantial passion for music, singing and artwork. She loved family time, the sun, the beach and the ocean. Rebekah was a loving and compassionate person who loved to be silly. She had a great sense of humor and had the most beautiful smile that could light up your soul. Rebekah brought exceptional happiness to her family and everyone around her.
Rebekah will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Funeral Services will be private for the family.
For the health and safety of the Hart Family, we kindly ask that masks be worn while attending visitation or funeral services. Thank you.

I used to work with Bekah at HRH in housekeeping; she always had aspirations to go onto being a Tech/CNA and I'm glad she eventually got there. I will never forget the most important thing she said to me that's stuck with me these last few years, "make sure you drink plenty of water in the healthcare field," and she was right.

Oh how I cannot believe that this has happened. Rebekah was the sweetest girl. She would always get to work at least 15 minutes early, and I still wouldn't have assignments done. Rebekah would always help me out with deciding assignments. She always had such a positive attitude even if she was floating to another unit. Rebekah will be missed by so many people. Rebekah was my best friend from day one knowing her and working with her! We clicked so quickly that we had numerous people ask us how long we’d been friends! She always put others before herself in most situations! We were there for each through think and thin for about a year and half! Unfortunately we fell apart maybe 6 months ago however we stayed professional as far as work and communicated accordingly!! What I can say about Rebekah is that is was full of life and energy and she never really let anyone or thing put her in a damper or bad mood and if they did I would always remind her to F what they thought! No one should ever make you feel bad for being happy for no reason! Happiness is the best gift you can give. She just needed to learn to control it and not to take it personal when someone doesn’t understand her at first! There are many times i had to tell her I need a moment from you and in the beginning of our relationship she took it personal but I reminded her it’s not you it me. Keep being you just respect and understand that I need a moment from you at times. As we grew together as friends she figured it out because unlike her I am not as spunky as her but she brought the best out in me no matter what mood I was in! She always knew how to push my buttons on to make me smile. I will forever be grateful for her love for me and life! No matter what differences we may have had she made life better for me! I will remember her for all she did for me and for all she was!
