Rebecca “Becky” L. Mansell

Rebecca L. Mansell, age 64, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Friday, August 7, 2020.

Rebecca is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Charles (Bo) Mansell; daughter, Julianna (Bryan) Bodamer; two grandsons: Zachary and Andrew Bodamer; sisters: Lisa Ashby and Rosanna (Herb) Schoenfelt; along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her two fur babies: Sam and Susie.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents: John and Beverly Vucekovich; brother, John A. Vucekovich; and sister, Karen Nowicki.

Becky was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always there for anyone and love giving advice. Becky’s greatest joy in life was sharing in the lives of her two grandsons. Everything she did, she did for them; especially this past year. She wanted to live for “her boys” more than anything.

Becky’s other passion was spending weekends with her husband; going out to eat, antique shopping, going for walks at the Lake County Fair Grounds, and just sitting outside enjoying the day watching the birds. Together, they had many plans for the future for which she was excited.

Becky was also a huge cat lover and she definitely it showed with her two cats, Sam and Susie. They were pampered like no other. As hard as this is for her family, we know she will forever be our angel, watching over us.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN. Becky’s wishes were to have a private cremation without any services. The family is respecting her wishes and ask that everyone who knew and loved her, to please send up a prayer.
