I met Ray as a member of the McHenry County Enterprise Club where he was also a member. We very quickly became close friends. He was my golf partner at the Crystal Woods golf club for three years and was most remembered for always hitting his drive in the fairway. In fact he was known as Fairway Ray by those that played with him. I remember when Maxine died, her funeral service is still quite vivid in my memory. How Ray loved her and afterwards missed her. Now we have lost Ray. There is absolutely no question in my mind but that the Lord has received Ray's soul. He was a Christian man, a gentleman, and a credit to the human race. I am proud to have known Ray and to call him my friend.

Durbin Family, Our hearts go out to you during this time of grieving. A loving parent is hard to lose. Be comforted in knowing he is in a better place now and will know eternal peace reunited with the loved ones that have gone on before. Donna and Matt Morrison

I would like to extend my sympathy at the loss of your loved one. I was a People Greeter at the Woodstock Walmart. When Ray would come in he was one of my favorite customers it was a highlight of my day. Ray was always greeting me with a smile, sharing his experiences. He truly was a man who loved the Lord. Directed many lives through his wisdom and caring. What a legacy he left to you. I missed him when he moved as I know he will be missed by you all at his passing. Absent from the body, present with the Lord. No better place to be. Take care and God Bless you. Sincerely, Linda
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
