Phyllis A. Dunajski (nee Zimmerman), age 81, of Portage, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Veronica Dossett; son, Steven David Dossett; 7 granddaughters; and 6 grandsons; cousins: Patricia (Oscar) Wiggers, Richard (Shirley) Ausenbaugh; nieces: Julia (Matthew) Percy, Lesenia Maldonado; nephew, Isaac Maldonado; angel caregiver and cousin-in-law, Anita Kolivas; and other beloved nieces and nephews.
Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Dunajski; mother, Anna K. Zimmerman; father, Frank Zimmerman; son, Phillip Alan Bowles; grandson, Shawn Matthews; and beloved cousin, Theodore Kolivas.
Phyllis was a former member of Divine Providence Polish National Catholic Church in Merrillville. She was a member, past president, and a treasurer of Silver bell Club PNA Lodge #2365. She will be dearly missed.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 1, 2022, at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 2700 Willowcreek Rd., Portage, IN 46368 from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 12:00 PM.
Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage, IN.
