PHILLIP MALENOCK, age 91 of Crown Point, passed away, Thursday, January 26, 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette (nee Marckese); son, Michael Malenock; daughter, Catherine (Bill) Taylor; two grandchildren, Megan and Phillip.
Mr. Malenock was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church. He was a retired metallurgical Engineer from U.S. Steel with 34 years of service. Mr. Malenock was a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 6360 Broadway, Merrillville on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Prayer service at 5:00 pm. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 9:30 am from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 10:00 am from St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 801 W. 73rd Ave., Merrillville with Rev. Brian Chadwick officiating. At rest Calumet Park Cemetery. Memorials preferred to St. Andrew’s Church.
