Teresa M. (Strimbu) Gray and Carlos Gray left a message on July 21, 2022:
Dear Mrs. Barlas, Jim, Victor, Anthony, and Annette, and all the rest of Paul's family; May God bless you and keep you all close to each other thru these difficult times. Please remember all the wonderful times and memories of your husband and father. I always enjoyed growing up as your neighbor across the street and especially loved to see the projects that Mr. Barlas had going on from nicely finishing up the basement and watching him work in his woodshop. (He would have liked seeing the 8.75 acre woods that we live in and had fun planning lots of different woodworking projects from the wide variety of wood.) Thanks again for all the car rides to and from school or the store, and lots of fun playing basketball or Horse in the back driveway with Victor and/or Jim. More personal comments: Please contact us. Carlos and i would love to hear about your Dad's experience in the air force as Carlos' father was the main mechanic at Moody Field working on and also training all other mechanics on the B25's during WWII. Hope everyone is healthy. I would love to talk with your mom sometime, and hear from Jim, and Victor whom we hear is or has also been in the Air Force. Christ's Blessings to all.
