I was very sorry to hear that Pat passed away. She taught for our Merrillville Adult Education Program for many years. I knew that she could be counted on to fill in whenever one of our instructors bowed out at the last minute. She was a very thorough instructor, and her teaching spoke for itself!! I enjoyed many conversations with her. May she rest in peace. Robyn Huffman

I am so very sorry to hear of Pat's passing. She was my typing teacher at Hanover Central H.S. in the late 60's. She was very patient with those of us who were "coordination challenged"! My you deepest sympathy to her family and dear friends.

Miss Nemeth was an amazing teacher. I learned so much from her. My thoughts and prayers go to her family and friends.

Fond memories of working with Pat on teacher association matters. She was an accomplished business teacher but no matter her skills, she could not teach me shorthand in night school; I dropped out after the first 2 weeks--my fault; not hers!

Miss Nemeth touched a lot of people. She taught both myself and my sisters at Lowell High School. I met her the first time when my oldest sister was in her class, and I was about 9. I will always remember her drinking her favorite pop, Tab! Then I was lucky enough to have her as a teacher myself years later, and I'll always remember her telling us that if we could do it quietly, she'd let us leave a few minutes early each day, to beat the rush in the parking lot. She was a great teacher and a great person. Lots of good memories from the classes I had with her. RIP peace Miss Nemeth and I will be keeping her family in my thoughts during this difficult time.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
