I was fortunate to hangout with Niko a few times in college. Even though we were not close friends, I was always struck by how unbelievably kind, charismatic and thoughtful he was. He always managed to light up the room, make everyone laugh and feel welcomed. I will truly treasure the memories of Niko. I want to express my sincerest condolences to the Lilovich family.

We are sorry to hear about the passing of Niko. We send our heartfelt condolences to your family. We are his neighbors from across the street and talked with him from time to time. Once my daughter got off the bus & no one was home, Niko called to let us know & let her stay until her grandmother came. He was a friendly young man & he will be missed. (Sonya & Kevin)

Nikko embodied so much of my favorite characteristics in life. Joy, laughter, silliness, goofiness, fun seeking, loyalty, and somebody you could always talk too. I Will forever love and miss you brother. Until I see you again, you will live in my (along with many others) memories, thoughts, and hearts. To the Lilovich family, I’m sending my love, thoughts, prayers, and a hand if you need somebody to talk too. ❤️❤️
Kyle Plaster left a message on October 27, 2022:
Niko and I were good friends at Purdue, both a part of Lambda Chi fraternity. He was a smart genuine guy, always fun to hang around. I was always impressed with his unique skills like chess and day trading, not something you saw from many fraternity brothers. Its safe to say a lot of our brothers were shocked when we heard the tragic news about Niko earlier this week. He was a great person and great friend. He will be dearly missed.
