Millicent N. Everett Nee Thatcher, age 95, of Indianapolis, IN formerly of Crown Point, passed away Monday, April 12, 2004, at Westminster Village North in Indianapolis, IN She is survived by her Four Daughters: Roberta Tom Recktenwall of Indianapolis, IN Merrill Michael Uno of Honolulu, Hawaii Jewell Vic Sheldon of Houston, Texas Martha Everett Venerando Musumecci of Golden, CO Nine Grandchild: Victor Katie Sheldon of Annapolis, MD Carrie Ted Hovermale of Layfayette, IN Christopher Recktenwall, Indianapolis, IN Wesley Sheldon of Ocean City, MD Curran Uno of New York City, N.Y. Brice Uno of Grinnell, IA Neal Uno of Honolulu, Hawaii Emily Musumecci of Golden, CO Paul Musumecci of Golden, CO She was preceded in Death by her Husband: Forrest Everett Funeral Services will be held on Friday, April 16, 2004 at 10:30 DIRECTLY AT the First Presbyterain Church 218 S. Court St. Crown Point, IN with Chaplin Stephanie Wright officiating.Interment will be at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point, IN. Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home 109 N. East St. Crown Point on Thursday, April 15, 2004 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 PM and on Friday, April 16, 2004 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the church. Millicent was born January 11, 1909, daughter of Glen and Maud Thatcher Porter County, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University in 1930. She taught school in LaCrosse, Indiana and worked as a Lake Co. Home Demonstration Agent prior to her marriage to Forrest M. Everett on October 29, 1941. He preceded her in death on April 11, 1962. Mrs. Everett taught Home Economics at Taft Jr. High School in Crown Point and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Crown Point, the First Presbyterian Church Guild, a 75 year member of Alpha Chi Omega Social Sorority and Tri Kappa Sorority. Memorials may be given to the Crown Point Community Foundation.
