Olivia Netluch-West left a message on January 9, 2013:
Dear Daddy, I only recently found out of your passing. Your wife and son did not have the decency or morales to inform me of your passing which is unforgivable. But I have no doubt that God will handle their evil and deliberate actions. I always loved you, you were my hero and favorite parent. You didn't abuse or torment me like Marta and Daniel. I was sexually abused by Daniel & Marta ignored it. Rest in peace my dear daddy. You are now free from your evil wife that made your life miserable. There will always be a special place in my heart from you. I will always remember when you called me while Marta was in Czech. And you wanted to move in with us. You could only call when Marta wasn't around. She didn't give you the cards & pics of your granddaughter Erica. You cried on the phone wanting to see her but Marta wouldn't let you. Love Always, Olivia
Reinie Masanetz left a message on July 25, 2011:
My dear Michael, I need to tell you how much your life had a positive affect on me. I always admired you and looked up to you as a role model, almost like a father figure. It was wonderful to see how happy you made my sister and I appreciated what a kind, loving and devoted family man you were. Though you were a hardworking businessman committed to your profession, you loved life and enjoyed the sport of competitive ballroom dancing. I'll never forget your heart warming smile. You faced the end of your life with courage and dignity. Though you sadly have left us, yours was a life well lived. I am deeply grieved that you have passed away and I will miss you so much. Goodbye my dear Michael, Love Always, Hansi
George Sitaras left a message on July 25, 2011:
Dear Marta, I was saddened by the news of the loss of Michael. I share your sorrow, grief and pain. I considered Michael a good friend and the best neighbor one could have. I enjoyed our early morning conversations about the yard, the plants, the weather and stories about the life in our homelands in Europe and our families and children here in the States. He was a good man, proud of his family and heritage. Take care of yourself, being close to your son's family and grandchildren in Indiana may provide some relief and comfort in these difficult days, and give you some time to cancentrate on the pleasant times and life you had together. May he rest in piece and may he live in the memory of those who knew him forever. Love, George and Cathy

Dear Marta,Daniel and family, We send our most heartfelt thoughts on the loss of your husband, father and grandfather. Michael was a kind, thoughtful and gentle man. He was always friendly to everyone and had a wonderful smile. We were so lucky to have met him and Marta a few years ago, while walking outside. Even our cat Emily liked them. Michael loved his family very much, especially his grandchildren, and, of course his cat, Taffy, We have so many fond memories of him, especially sitting on our porch talking and laughing. Sincerely, Joe and Hannah Fish & Emily
