Michael Hoffman, age 73, passed away on March 21, 2023 at Franciscan Health in Michigan City, IN.

He was born on April 29, 1949 in Ewen Michigan to Arthur Hoffman and Doris Klapper whom have both preceded him in death.  On November 9, 1974 he married the love of his life, Jeannine (Lindeman) Hoffman, at Queen of all Saints Church in Michigan City.  Jeannine resides in Michigan City.

He is also survived by his children: Scott (Jackie) Hoffman of Rancho Bernardo, CA and Kiel (Victoria) Hoffman of Woodbridge, VA; two grandchildren: Evangelina and Avery Hoffman; sisters: Mary Bollone, Michelle Wiitala and Melissa (Bob) Treadeau.  He is preceded in death by his sister: Marsha Stimac.

Michael graduated from St. Lawrence Seminary with a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy and theology. He was a member of Queen of all Saints Church. Past member of the Moose lodge# 980.  Michael is a retiree from working at the Sanitary District.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at Queen of all Saints Church, located at 1725 E Barker Ave, Michigan City, IN.  Mass will be held on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Queen of all Saints Church officiated by Father Kime.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens in Michigan City.
