My sincerest condolences to Mary’s family. We are 1st half cousins but only met later in life. She contributed so much by all the genealogy work she did. I appreciated it so much. She will be greatly missed.

It is always a sad occasion when our Lord calls one of his most precious souls to join him in heaven. May your family cherish their memories of you and share those memories with all. My they look upon the time you spent in their presence as a most enjoyable of times. You will be missed greatly, my friend. RIP

To Mary's family and friends, I just say that I never met Mary in person, but knew her through a mutual cousin and through her extensive and very active genealogical work. We shared some ties through the Schiele family tree. Her frequent input in our Germans from Russia research group will be sorely missed. Mary contributed tremendously and I, for one, have benefited from her efforts. Big hugs and sincere sympathy to all on your loss.
Karen Lynch left a message on December 26, 2023:
Mary has been my dear neighbor friend. We would chat and laugh while sometimes sitting on her front porch. We would talk of how the neighborhood had changed from the 80's and her stories and pictures of the old farm. I will miss her and her smile. May her memories bring strength to her family and all who loved her.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My heartfelt condolences and prayers to Mary's dear family at this sad time. I first met Mary at a GRHS Convention in Bismarck, ND, several years ago, delighted to meet a fellow German-Russian Hoosier! Mary told me that after my Dad passed away in 1979, she would drive down to the Indianapolis area to have lunch with my stepmother, Anneliese. That was so nice of her, and something I had not known. Mary will be so missed, especially by all her friends at GRHS, for her passion, research, and dedication to all things German-Russian, and her fond memory will always remain in our midst.
Mary Ebach left a message on December 26, 2023:
Deep condolence to Mary's family. As a friend we feel her loss also. She helped me so many times to copy my Grandpa's family information. She stopped by Rugby and our house. She called and wrote - she will be so missed. Rest in peace dear Mary
