MARY BLEY age 91 of Schererville formerly of Merrillville passed away Sunday February 22 2009. Survived by son Terry (Gail) Bley of Schererville two grandchildren: Lauren (Michael) Kenning of Lafayette IN and Michael Bley brother Emil (Dolores) Dzurko of Crown Point. Preceded in death by husband Joseph parents John and Mary Dzurko brother John Dzurko sister Helen Vargo brother-in-law Albert Bley. Mary was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church St. John. She was a former member of Blessed Sacrament and SS. Peter & Paul churches. She was a member of First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union and was a retired trimmer from the Anderson Co. with 38 years of service. Friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service 6360 Broadway Merrillville on Thursday February 26 2009 from 11:00a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m. from Pruzin Brothers Chapel and 12:00 Noon from SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church 5885 Harrison St. Merrillville with Rev. Dennis Teles officiating. At rest Calvary Cemetery Portage.

To the Bley family I extend my sympathy. Though I never met Mary Bley I heard about her in conversations with Lauren. I know Lauren loved her grandmother very much. Had I been able to make it to Lauren and Mikes wedding I would have had the opportunity to meet all the Bley family including Grandma Mary.
