Maris Dale McCowan, age 76, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Maris is survived by 3 children: Annette Hines, Scott (Jessica) McCowan and Julie (Eric) Franz; 8 grandchildren: Marissa Hines, Austin Franz, Brett McCowan, Kristi McCowan, Shayna Franz, Brandon McCowan, Kara McCowan and Kendal McCowan; 7 great-grandchildren; 1 brother: Jerry McCowan; and 2 sisters: Phyllis King and Kathy Wright. He was preceded in death by his wife: Sue McCowan; parents: Harold and Ruth McCowan; and sister: Valerie McCowan.
Maris was a Foreman at Ford Motor Company for 25 years and enjoyed carving.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre in Crown Point, IN. 219-663-2500.
