Marilyn E. Geisen (nee Foss), age 66, of Crown Point, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 in Punta Gorda, FL.
Survived by three children: Cathy (Larry) Maglish, Nancy (Don) Burton and Larry (Kim) Geisen, all of Crown Point. Six grandchildren: Jessica and Jackie Barnhill, Samantha Maglish, Alexandria, Anthony and Nicholas Geisen; mother Adeline Foss; dear friend, Jim Kerr; one sister, Sharon Jandura; two brothers, Jack (Barb) Foss and Dick (Noreen) Foss; sister-in-law Loretta (Stan) Barr; brother-in-law Steven Geisen; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband, Robert; father, Wilbur Foss; and sister, Marge Steinhilber.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 from Geisen Funeral Home, Crown Point, at 9:30 AM, and 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN, with Fr. Pat Kalich officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.
Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home, 109 N. East St., Crown Point on Monday, April 12, 2004 from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Prayer Service Monday at 7:00 PM, followed immediately by a Celebration of Life Video Tribute.
Marilyn was owner and operator along with her husband, Robert, of the Geisen Funeral Home in Crown Point for over 35 years. She belonged to St. Mary Catholic Church; graduated from Crown Point High School in 1956 and was a member of the PSI IOTA XI Sorority. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, golfing and playing cards with her Bridge Club.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Community School or the Crown Point Community Foundation.
