Mabel L. Molden (nee Mitchell), age 91, of Lowell, IN, passed away on Thursday, August 10, 2023.

Mabel is survived by her children: Linda (Bill) Kleine, Pam (Robert) Castner, Greg (Charlotte) Molden, Debbie (Larry) Wray, Larry (Becky) Hiestand; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren.

Mabel was preceded in death by her husbands: Wayne Hiestand, Orbie Molden; children: Carol Bouchard, William Hiestand, Bruce Molden; grandchildren: Chris Bouchard, Brett Hiestand, Lucas Molden; her siblings: Jim Mitchell, Georgie Sanders; and parents: David and Lucille.

Mabel was a devoted member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She worked as McMahan’s Lawn and Garden for over 50 years. Mabel also loved fishing, gardening, and ceramics. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Maplewood Memorial Cemetery in Crown Point, IN.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Mabel’s name to Trinity Lutheran Church in Crown Point, IN.
