Wayne & Toni Yackus left a message on July 12, 2023:
Being neighbors for many years, we enjoyed talking with Louie while he was out cutting grass or pulling weeds. Neighbors could set their clocks by him as we would see him on his daily walk (put us younger neighbors to shame) as he had a good stride, fast pace. (It was the postman in him even after retiring). His sidewalk was always cleared of snow (EARLY) in the morning using his good old fashion what looked like a "coal" shovel. (Again, that was the postman in him--wanting sidewalks clear for when delivering the mail). He was a devoted parishioner to St. Mary's church & his usher duties. May you RIP, Louie. Our deepest sympathy to the families. Treasure the memories & may they bring you strength & peace. Our deepest sympathy!

Frank and I were greeted many times by Lou as we entered St. Mary's. The Mass intention at the 6:00pm August 15 Mass at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Bushnell, Florida, will be for Lou in gratitude for his many years serving our Lord and his country.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as you grieve the loss of Lou. He was my very first encounter with my current employer and he always will have a special place in my heart ♥️ Fly high with the angels and save me a bite of spare ribs and New York cheesecake in heaven Lou! Gone but never forgotten!
