Sending my condolences to Lori’s family. Lori was a very important dear best friend to my mom Fely Rivera before my parents retired to FL in ‘07. She and Virginia created a loving sisterhood and my mom was so happy. It was lovely to read her letter to my mom last spring after dad passed away. Mom in fact passed away of Alzheimer’s in June ‘23. They are now heavenly best friends together.

Our condolences got out to Anne Everett and the entire family. We had the pleasure of knowing Lorraine through Anne, when she would visit Arizona. We absolutely loved her. We shared so many laughs and meals together over the years, she was a hoot. My Dad and Lorraine would share stories from their time in the Navy. The one thing she told us was her grave marker was pre-filled when her husband died, and the year of death was engraved 19__, she was amused she lived way past that. She was so proud of Michigan City. We had the opportunity to visit her there and she drove us all around town, highlighting her favorite spots. We will forever be grateful for her friendship and will miss her deeply....until we meet again Lorraine! Rest in Peace.
