Lois and I were in Tri Kappa together for many years. She was my mentor when I became the treasurer. We worked together on many projects. Her family was the most important thing to her. She loved all you very much! She was a good, kind person and will be missed.
Josh Potter left a message on August 10, 2022:
The food! The games! The constant supply of Mountain Dew! I remember smugly agreeing to a game of Trivial Pursuit ( I thought I was a real smarty pants) to then receive a beat down unlike anything I ever experienced before or since. I learned that day I should have taken Latin in school. She was a huge part of my high school years and will be missed. The world is better because of her. Rest well.
Christine A Holtkamp left a message on August 9, 2022:
I am so saddened to hear of the loss of my childhood best friend. But also, grateful to have had the opportunity to spend some time with Lois last year after so long. Lois and I went to a little two room schoolhouse (Willow Creek School) together for kindergarten through sixth grade, were girl scouts together, took German class together, as well as dance class. We spent much time at each other's houses and shared each other's mothers. What a wonderful friend Lois was. We went off to different colleges,+++++++++++++++++++++++++ but she still asked me to be in her wedding, what an honor. She went off to Indiana and had a wonderful full life and two wonderful children and I went off to a wonderful career. It was so great to be able to reunite last year and relive our memories of old times and share those times missed. I will always remember her warm smile and sense of adventure. We had such great times together that I will never forget. Lois has a place in my heart where great friends reside.

Marie Whitaker left a message on August 9, 2022:
It will be a quiet world without Lois in it. I can remember the fun we had when I was driving around with Lois as Jenn and Donna walked for cancer.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
Gene Eenigenburg left a message on August 8, 2022:
I knew her only as Jen’s mom but she showed her love for cooking and the staff of Fleet Feet and I managed to stop in most Saturday mornings to enjoy her famous cupcakes.
Mary Koster left a message on August 8, 2022:
I met Lois at Spinnin' Yarns in Griffith. She would make the best 'meals' for Saturday lunch. We heard about Hunter a lot. After Pete passed away, I did not see her too much because my life got busy. She always had a smile on her face and was a very positive person. ((HUGS)) and prayers to the family. God's Blessings, Mary Koster
