Linda Parker, age 74, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.

Linda is survived by her son, James (Lydia) Parker: daughters, Michelle (Mark) Edgington, Amanda (Jason) Parks; granddaughters: Taylor, Alexis, Lacy; brothers: Kermit Stockstill, Greg (Carrie) Stockstill, Tim (Bonnie) Stockstill; sisters: Londa Kossel, Sandy (Mark) Wilker.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Parker; parents: Levon and Lula Mae (nee McDaniel) Stockstill; brothers: James Stockstill, Jeffery Stockstill, Levon Stockstill Jr.; sisters: Wanda Carey, Elaine Wyer, Emilee Krier, and Janice Knowland.

Linda was a supervisor at Burrell Colour Lab for 29 years. She enjoyed camping at Lost Acres Campground where she loved her bag tournaments, playing marbles and poker games. In her younger years she was on a softball league and bowling team.

Linda was a kind soul that never met a stranger giving her nickname of “Social Butterfly.” She loved cooking and having family dinners. Linda loved her nieces and nephews as her own.

Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 1:00 PM until the time of memorial service at 3:00 PM, at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation toward a memorial bench in her honor to be placed at Lost Acres.

Such a wonderful lady and friend - her passing is a great loss, to so many people.

Linda was the best sister in law. She was also a great stand in grandma for my kids. She never missed a thing they had from birth on. I will miss are 3 phone calls a day. Saying goodbye I can not do because for 35 years you have been there, so until we meet again you will be with me in my heart.

My thoughts and prayers are with Linda's family. I met Linda camping at lost acres. Beautiful person inside and out. So glad to have met Linda and called her my friend ❤ RIP Linda ?
