Dear Friends, I wanted to thank all of you that attended my grandmas wake and funeral. It was so nice of all you to come and show your respects. I loved my grandma with all my heart, we have gotten really close over the past few years. I went out there almost every Sunday to help her around the house. I also took her to radiation and chemo. She was a wonder mother as well as a grandmother. I will never eat a better apple pie than the ones that she used to make me. Every fall since I have been able to walk we would go apple picking at the local orchard, we would pick so many that they would last us a whole year. Ill never forget the birthday I had a clown at my party and she put a clown nose on my grandma and I freaked out because I didn't know where she went. Hahaha now that I look back on it, it was funny. Well my grandma will always be in my heart I love her very much and miss her very very much! Love always, Jackie Beilfuss

June Higgins left a message on February 27, 2009:
Dear Jack, I want to send my condolences to you and your family. I hadn't seen Joan for many years but always remember her fondly as childhood playmate and schoolmate. We also attended Grace Lutheran Sunday School and were confirmed there together. Our mutual friend, Aurora Kelley, gave me your sad news so I wanted to extend my sympathy. Sincerely, June Higgins
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Jack, No words can express the sorrow we feel for you and your children. I will always remember our younger days, and the great times we shared with you, Joan, and all the other friends we had between us. May GOD bless you and your family, now, and in the coming days.

Joan was Mom II for me on my many trips to Indiana to see Jill and my family. Joan always opened her home and heart to me for which I will always be grateful and will remember forever.

Goodbyes are not forever And nor is it the end When angels come to call away A loved one or a friend The true gift is that love remains Although we now must part Until forever and beyond I'll keep you, in my heart I count my blessings to have shared many days in the past years with our lunches and sharing with each other about our love for our families. I will miss our good laughs and concern about each other. Aurora

My Family and I want to extend our condolences to all those lives that Joann has touched..We have been touched by her..With me it started when I met her at the Holiday Inn ...we later Bowled at Merribowl with our StarPlaza League, Then she became part of our family with the marriage of her son James to my cousin MaryAnn. We shared alot of family events..She amazed me by her creativeness and her sense of humour..and boy could she sew..I remember one year when she made Easter Dresses for her 4 Grand Daughters Jackie, Laura, Rachel, and Joanna whom was honored by her name you all were her JOY. as was all her family..and all those lives that she touched.. May the Blessing of the Lord be with all and to console you and yours during this time..Her memories and Spirit will be with you..
