Just heard of Larry’s passing and wanted to express our sincere condolences. Larry and Mark go way back and although life took them in different directions, they still had found memories of their past times. Thinking of family at this difficult time.

We are so sorry for your loss. I worked with Larry for many years on Arby's. A person could not ask for a better friend, business associate and mentor. And Larry always brought the donuts!!!! What a grand human being!!! You are blessed to have had him for a brother, husband, father and grandfather. And I was blessed to have had him for a friend.

Tom Hoffman left a message on June 10, 2022:
to Debi and all of Larry's family and closest friends, I extend my deepest and sincerest sympathies. You have suffered a devastating loss. I first met Larry in 1983 when we first ran for town council - he in Schererville and me in Dyer. One evening he just dropped into my campaign "headquarters" to introduce himself and wish me luck. Over the next 4 years, we saw each other often at fundraisers and governmental meetings and somehow the conversations always included the love of our Corvettes. Although it was because of politics that I met Larry, it wasn't long before I knew that politics was not what defined him. Not at all. It was the love of his family that flowed both ways. The tribute makes that ever so clear. Again I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss. He was a good, good man.

Patty and David Sharp left a message on June 5, 2022:
We lived in Schererville across the street from The Tuckers for about 20 years. Larry was always ready with an amiable "hello" wave and a big smile. Larry and Debi were wonderful neighbors, and we really missed them when they moved to St. John. Recently, we would run into each other at restaurants and "shoot the breeze." It's hard to imagine a world without Larry. David and I are so sorry for his passing. Deepest sympathy to Debi and the girls and their extended family.
Kathy Lebryk left a message on June 5, 2022:
Dear Debi and Larry, Craig and I will miss Larry dearly, especially his laugh, his smile and his kindness. Thank you and Larry for convincing Craig to move to the Gates. I will think of Larry each time I make that roast beef that he loved. We promise to take care of Debi the best we can. Can't imagine life around here without Larry. We hope he is enjoying heaven and resting in God's loving arms as I can't imagine him anywhere else. Hope someday we are all together again. All our love, Kathy and Craig and Charlie
