Kerri M. Hegeduis, age 51, of Crown Point, IN, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021.
Kerri was the loving wife and best friend of 29 years to, Robert Hegeduis; devoted mother to Brendan, Ryan and Kaley; loving sister to Bryan (Donna) Willis and Kelly Willis; loving daughter to Karen “Kristine” (late Terry) Willis; loving sister-in-law to Andy (Maria) Hegeduis, Alan (Theresa) Hegeduis, Barbara (James) Brach, David (Liza) Hegeduis, Daniel (Glorea) Hegeduis, John (Barbara) Malkowski and Christine Reid; cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews; and leaves behind many cherished aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kerri was preceded in death by her father, Terry Willis; grandparents: I. Harold Metzler and Therese Metzler, Bernice Willis and Kenneth Willis; in-laws: Andrew and Elizabeth Hegeduis.
Kerri was currently the ACO Care Manager Level 3 for Franciscan Hospital in Crown Point. Prior to that, she was the Case Manager at Franciscan Dyer, Labor and Delivery at St. Anthony Crown Point, Farmers Insurance Claims Representative and worked at the Dominicks Food Store in Lansing, IL. Kerri was Hockey Mom, Softball Mom and Volleyball Mom. She was a proud member of the Bunco “B” Club and the Cool Moms Club.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 30, 2021 at Geisen Funeral, Cremation & Reception Centre, 606 E. 113th Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Funeral Prayers will be said at the Funeral Home at 8:45 AM on Saturday, July 31, 2021. Funeral Services to follow at St. Mary Catholic Church, 321 E. Joliet St., Crown Point, IN 46307 at 9:30 AM with Fr. Don Levandowski officiating. Services will conclude at the church with cremation to follow.
For the health and safety of the Hegeduis Family, masks will be required to be worn while attending visitation or funeral services. Thank you.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Kerri’s name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
