Mary McCarver left a message on October 9, 2023:
Mimi, We have been blessed to have you in our family for over twenty years. We couldn’t have found better people than you and Ian to share our cherished grandchildren. Even though we are very saddened, I personally take great comfort in the faith you had in God. Leading up to that necessary surgery that ultimately took you from us, you let us all know that you were at peace with the outcome by stating multiple times, “It’s all in God’s hands.” You lived each moment to the fullest, drinking in that last shared vacation, visiting the ocean, and sharing fun and memories. Go rest high on that mountain precious Mimi, until we all meet again. Love you, Mary & Clayton (Grammie & Papa)

Kathy my dear friend you, will be terribly missed until I see you again in heaven. I remember the great time we had on the train ride and then shopping at Baileys. Maybe we will remember again together in heaven. Our Small Group will not be the same without you and your sweet personality. Loving you in Christ, Audrey
Felisa McCarver left a message on October 1, 2023:
Mimi, One month before your passing, you were in the pool at the beach with your grandkids telling them about the swim team you were on in college and playing Marco Polo. As an observer, I have always been amazed at your strength in the face of ongoing health issues and deep personal losses. You were such a fighter grounded in your faith in God and your love of family. Your strength of character, conviction, warm smile, and gentle spirit will be missed. Bravo on a life well lived. With much love, Felisa
