Mrs. Lukich was my Kindergarten teacher at Holy Trinity, as well as for my 2 younger brothers. I remember visiting her home in Calumet a few times after I moved on to another school in East Chicago. My Mother took us by her home at Christmas time to see the Santa and sleigh perched on her roof with the Christmas music playing for the neighborhood. After she moved, we lost touch. Though Kindergarten was many years ago, I still have very special memories of being in her presence. God blessed her with a long and beautiful life. God comfort her family and friends - though you can't see her, she is still with you.

We lost one of the great ladies of Calumet (EC neighborhood). Mrs. Lukich was smart, sassy, funny, witty & full of life, She was like having a 2nd Mom in our old neighborhood. My thoughts & prayers go out to the Luckich & Spudic families.
