Kamie was a huge part of my life when I was growing up. I was so lucky to live next door. I know she was the one who taught me patience as a child as well as unconditional love. We went to kindergarten together. Kamie was a joy to be around. She had love for everyone. We spent so many hours playing in and around our yards and houses. She had so many friends. I remember she would drop something down the laundry chute and crack up laughing. We would go get it in the basement. We played with her dog Rusty every day. My best friend Juli Johnson and I would take Kamie to the beach and just go for walks together. Mrs. Griffin would always make us fabulous snacks and treats. Kamie would wait every day for her dad to get home from work for a huge hug. Mrs. Sprague always had something beautiful and mysterious to share with us. We had the best of times. Knowing Kamie helped me grow into the person I am today. I will forever cherish her memory.

I send all my prayers out to the family of Kamie Griffin. I work at Parents and Friends as the QMRP, but before taking this job I was support staff and worked with Kamie. I enjoyed working with Kamie, she could put a smile on my face on my worst day. She was a unique individual who was very loved by her staff and those who knew her. Kamie was a joy to work with and I am happy that I had the chance to work with her.

Connie and Bruce, I have many fond memories of Kamie but, I will always remember the sparkle in her eye and the pure joy she made obvious every time either one of you came to pick her up for a home visit. That scene always made my heart smile and will continue to make me smile each time I recall it. Kamie was a beautiful individual and holds a special place in my heart. My prayers for you will be that you are given strength during this time of deep sorrow and that, in time, your pain will be bearable. With Sincere Sympathy, Steph

When Kamie Griffin died I was really sad. I will miss her greatly. I always saw her at work and I would say "Hi" to her. All my friends at work were upset, but we just cried and talked to each other to comfort each other. And we talked about what she did and how much we would miss her. We all liked her alot.
