JUDY WALWORTH, age 71 of Portage, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

Survived by her husband of 52 years, Leroy; three children: Jane (Reno) Banogon, Jennifer (Miguel) Gonzalez, and Daniel Walworth; four grandchildren: Amanda (Kevin) Watson, Jonah Grover, Makenna McCoy, and Levi Leep; two great-grandchildren: Leila and Blake Watson; brother, Patrick (late Betty) Nairn; sister, Marcia (David) Tyrka. Preceded in death by parents, Patrick and Ila Nairn; sister, Carolyn Carlton; brother, Lanny Nairn.

Judy was a member of Nativity of Our Saviour Catholic Church, Portage and taught special needs children for CCD there. She was a graduate of Hammond Tech High School, Class of 1963. Judy was a former teller at Indiana Federal Bank.

Family and friends may call at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service, 2700 Willowcreek Rd., Portage on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Monday, January 16, 2017 DIRECTLY from Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd., Portage with Rev. Andrew Corona officiating. There will be one half-hour of visitation at church prior to service. At rest McCool Cemetery, Portage.
