Susan Darnell left a message on May 26, 2020:
Joe Sasak was one in a million, always kind and compassionate, generous and thoughtful even when he barely knew the person he was gifting. I met Joe through my friend Helen Croarkin whom Joe adored. Joe made my life lighter when my son passed, though he barely knew us then. I always enjoyed going to car shows and Portage Entertainment musical shows with them, usually dining out afterwards always on Joe. I am so blessed to have known Joe, he was a permanent fixture in my relationship with Helen, her other half. I will miss him along with all of you. "God gave us memory that we might have roses in winter"
