JOHN JOHNSON, age 88 of Cedar Lake, IN, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2018.
Survived by three children: Mark (Debra) Johnson, Sharon (Darrell) Boyer, Marti (fiance’, William Anderson) Hash; two step-children: Laura (William) McLaughlin, Rebecca Guy; five grandchildren: Ann and Everett Johnson, Joshua Hash, David and Scott Boyer; one great-grandchild, Levi Boyer. Preceded in death by three wives: Helen Casey, Virginia Guy, and Virginia Harness.
John attended Harvest Church in Cedar Lake. He was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. John was an art teacher at East Chicago Washington and later at East Chicago Central high schools.
Family and friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 E. Franciscan Dr. (south of St. Rd. 231 on St. Rd. 55), Crown Point on Friday, February 2, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Funeral service will follow promptly at 6:00 pm. from Pruzin & Little Chapel with Pastor David Horner officiating. Services to conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow. At rest Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
