Preceded in death by parents, John G. and Ann Sabovcik. Our loving husband, dad, Papa, brother, and uncle was taken too soon from his battle with cancer. Even on his worst day, he asked about others and how they were doing. He loved baseball, dancing, music, animals, and was the hardest working man you knew. Anyone who knew him was touched by his beautiful and loving personality. He was so funny and giving and we are all left with a void without him here. His eyes were as blue as the sky, and he loved watching clouds go by. He adored watching his grandkids play sports and excel in school. Friends knew him as “Polak”, “Sabo”, and “Cookie Man”. John was a member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, Portage. He was a graduate of Horace Mann High School, Class of 1964 and was an Army veteran.
