JOHN E. ROSZKOWSKI JR. age 76 of Gary passed away Monday February 23 2009 at St. Catherine Hospital. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years Conrada Conniethree children: Mark (Diana) Roszkowski of Georgetown KY Laura (Dr. Stanley) Heleniak of Pennsylvania and Carolyn Roszkowski four grandchildren: Christen Craig and Cameron Roszkowski Christopher Heleniak aunt Wanda (late Stanley) Dabrowski of Dyer special cousin Stan (Barbara) Dabrowski of Schererville special friends: Denny and Doris Healy John and Sharon Palmeri and many relatives. Preceded in death by his parents former Lake County Prosecutor John E. and wife Zosia Roszkowski. John was a graduate of Morgan Park Military Academy and attended Indiana University Bloomington for three years before entering the Naval Air Force. He was stationed in Pensacola FL where he qualified as a carrier pilot and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a retired pricer from the financial department at Midwest Steel with 23 years of service. A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Cremation will preceed the Memorial Service. Arrangements by Pruzin Brothers Funeral and Cremation Service Merrillville.

Dear Connie I was so sorry to hear about John. Matt Monson called me within the hour of my reading about Johns passing in the paper. Ive told my dad and he also sends his condolences. Dear Connie and family So sorry to read about Johns passing. We hope he didnt have to suffer. Although in later years we havent seen each other as often we have such wonderful memories of our times together. Jerry recalls fondly the golf vacation he and John took. John planned everything to perfection. They ended the trip with a visit with Mark and his young family. So special!! Midwest Steel also added more memories with Walt Scott too. Those were the days!! We will remember John with love.
