I came to know Aunt Joanne sitting around her Mom’s (Gramm’s) kitchen table with a deck of cards, coffee and beer. I remember her as a knowledgeable and dedicated health care worker, a loving and caring mother, wife, sister, aunt and daughter. She was stubborn when she needed to be; a fighter when it came to her health. Aunt Joanne shared her love of nature and animals with us and we shared stories of country living. She loved when I brought her borscht made from my garden beets. I loved chatting with her and most always left her company marveling at her positivity, her gratitude for her blessings and an awareness of how much her family meant to,her. She was a candid, yet kind soul. I called her frequently for advise and assistance to deal with Marianne post knee surgery. She was an amazing help, encouraging to both of us. I was always reassured and grateful for her normalizing of Marianne’s recovery process and tips for simple things like getting in bed! She gifted us with beautiful stained glass that hang beautifully in our windows. When I see the sunlight and moonlight shining through them, I will now think of the light she brought to those who knew her. Q Chris, Gina, Sandy, Jenny and Henry, may you be comforted with loving memories. I will miss her. Jean

We had many good years working together. I will always remember you for your humor and outspokenness. I will miss you-even though I seldom got to talk to you or see you once we had different jobs, then retired and once my husband passed away then I seldom talked or saw anyone.I will remember you and all we've been through. Love ya Jennifer

Would like to express my sincere condolences to the family of Joanne Baron. Jo and I worked together for many years vim the Cath lab at Franciscan Dyer. Jo was one of the best and most knowledgeable rad techs I have ever known. Such a patient advocate as well. Will miss our conversations about dogs as we shared stories about Irish Setters May God bless. RIP Jo
