A life too short. Lauren's wedding was the last time we had the pleasure of chatting and connecting. She discussed the struggles but seemed strong then to us. Wonderful tribute video on the Geisen website, tears flowed uncontrollably. What a GREAT lady. We cannot imagine the sadness of Matt and the kids. A life too short!John Waechter & Doreen McIntire

Dear Matt, Chandra, Scott, and Mike: We want to give you our love and sincerest condolences on Joan's passing. We will always remember Joan as being one of the nicest and sweetest people we ever have had the pleasure of knowing. We think that Joan's mission as a nurse was to take care of people and to make them feel better. We believe she generously shared her mission with others, and this will be the legacy she leaves to you. The fond memories of Joan's kindness will be the legacy she leaves to us all. We pray that Joan felt God's loving embrace as He brought her back home to Him. May God bless you all, lift you up in His love, and give you strength. Love, Kathy and Steve Pasek

I’m at a loss for words. Joan was a dear friend for many years. Carla and I enjoyed our morning coffee clutch with Matt and Joan on the decks at the campground. We solved many of the worlds problems. I will forever cherish those memories. The laughter ( sometimes the tears) we shared around the campfire along with so many stories under the stars was something that we looked forward to each week. I send my sincere condolences to Matt, Chan, Scott, and Mike. I hope that happy memories and the fellowship of family and friends help you through this most difficult time. Joan will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Rest easy my friend.
