Sympathies to all the Whisler/ Means family. I knew Janice thru going to Dr Kacmar's office. After I found out that she was a sister to Janie, that made it that much more better. I went to school with Janie. I just happen to be checking the obits and saw her passing. Surely will miss her. Always so up beat. Prayers to her husband, children, grandchildren and sisters and families. Rest In Peace my friend.

Since condolences to all of my Indiana cousins and their families. I met Jan for the first time in 2006 during a cross-country trip. I enjoyed several meals with Jan's parents, Bob & Edie, where I had the pleasure of visits with Jan and many of Jan's siblings and their families.

Jan had the voice of an angel. I loved listening to her sing. Her Christmas Eve singing of "O Holy Night " always gave me goosebumps. We had the pleasure of her singing at our wedding 21 years ago. She was a sweetheart. May she rest in peace.

Jan always had a smile for me and everyone around her. She was truly one of God's children. I met her before 1st grade and we became friends for life. Grade school parties, Jr High School dances, youth group at the Methodist Church, sleep overs, too many to mention! Senior Week at Lake Schafer in our family trailer! Graduation and many times together as adults. Always good friends. Rest peacefully and God Bless.

Janice was friends with my brother Paul Jr. at CPHS and she was like a big sister to Grace, Mary, & me. I’ll never forget the the awesome haircuts she gave us back in the early 1970s!! Janice was a dear friend to the entire Georgas family. She was an angel here on earth and now she’s one in Heaven!! May God bless & comfort Janice’s family in their grief.
