JANICE B. MARTIN, age 62 of Merrillville; formerly of New Orleans, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2013. Survived by husband Charles of 42 years; son Gene Martin of Las Vegas; daughter Virginia Mitchell & son-in-law Michael Mitchell of Merrillville; 3 grandchildren: Christa Martin, Shyann Bell, and Makalah Mitchell; brother Harold Boydston and sister Sandra Bergeron both of Louisiana. Janice was a former table games supervisor for Harrah Casino in East Chicago. Family and friends may meet at Pruzin Brothers Funeral Service (6360 Broadway, Merrillville) on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 2:00-7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7:00 P.M. from the Pruzin Brothers Chapel with Rev. Jerry Ulrich officiating. Cremation will follow services.
