She was a wonderful person. When I had her as a teacher she challenged me. Asked me every day what is your main goal in her class. She hands down was my favorite teacher. Liked independent thinking as long as it was well thought. I'm sorry to see She had passed. Condolences to her family.

I was so sad to hear about Janet's passing. I taught with her for several years, and she was as supportive to me as she was to any of her students. She was Bulldog through and through. I talked to her and her husband Bob at so many sporting events after she retired, and they were exactly what you would want out of fans of high school athletics, always about the kids. Personally, I am going to miss her. RIP Jan. Mike Malaski

Jan was an amazing teacher and co-worker. I taught in the English department with her at CPHS for over ten years. She was the grammar queen and always willing to help other teachers. She shared many of her classroom creations with me over the years. I also enjoyed her sense of humor. She was a lovely person. I’m sorry for your loss.
