Dear Syrovatka family- I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I vividly remember when your family moved to Hebron and joined Hebron Elementary School and St. Helen's. Although I didn't know your father very well, Laura and I spent quite a bit of time together in band, so I feel as if I did get to know your family through her. I hope each day becomes easier for you and that you're able to celebrate your father's life and all the wonderful traits that he passed down to his children. Take care Diane Hren

Karen~ I am in Arizona on vacation with my family at the moment, but mom called and told me about your dad. I am sorry to hear that things have not gone well for quite some time. I hope that life brings you happier moments. I see that you have children, they usually have a way of bringing those moments out. Cherish your time with them as well as your family. Sorry I couldn't be there. I hope that you remember me as Shannon Mullins from school, and you can contact me at the above information. In prayer, Shannon Mullins Vann

June 29, 2005 To the Family of James Syrovatka Dear Family, The Lake County Recorder?s office wishes to extend to you our most heartfelt sympathy during the loss of your loved one. James Syrovatka will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Our consolation lies in the fact that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We know that he was one of God?s own, and so we celebrate his homegoing. He has been given a new, heavenly body that will enter into the presence of the Lord and rejoice among the angels. While we recognize that you are experiencing a time of profound loss and sorrow. Proverbs 3:5-6 states ?Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.? Please remember that God can, God will, and it is up to us to accept what He does. To the family of James Syrovatka, may the Lord bless you and comfort you. We, the Lake County Recorder?s office, pray that God will ease the pain of your loss through the good memories of his life with you and the legacy that James Syrovatka leaves behind. Respectfully submitted, Michael A. Brown, Lake County Recorder
